The Center for Nanoscale Systems (CNS) is a shared-use core facility. Our scientific focus is the study, design and fabrication of nanoscale structures and their integration into large and complex interacting systems. The CNS is a “build and test” laboratory facility supporting: cleanroom fabrication and characterization of nanoscale devices and structures; electron-beam imaging and analysis tools; materials characterization including XPS, microCT, PL, FTIR, AFM, microfluidic processing and a cell culture and microscopy facility. CNS is a member of the National Science Foundation’s National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN) initiative to create a national network of world-class facilities available to all researchers.
