HSCI iPS Cell Core Facility

The Harvard Stem Cell Institute's iPS Cell Core Facility provides investigators with customized iPS derivation and genome editing based on the latest cutting-edge stem cell technologies.  The core offers three non-integrating technologies (Sendai virus, miRNA and modified mRNA, and episomal vector) for reprogramming of a variety of somatic cell types. They also offer the generation of genome engineered hESC or hiPS lines. We currently offer TALEN or CRISPR genome editing technologies to generate knock-out or knock-in lines for repair or introduction of mutations. The iPS Core also serves as a repository for Harvard hESC lines and both control and disease-specific hiPS cell lines.
